Emily has built strong values in commitment, collaboration, and community, while feeding her entrepreneurial spirit.

Emily is currently being trained and mentored by Dr. Claire Zammit, founder of Feminine Power and the Institute of Woman-Centered Coaching and is close to completing her certification as a Woman-Centered Transformational Coach. These skills, coupled with her personal experience of being a workingmom wearing may hats throughout the day, allows Emily to serve her clients in a way that goes beyond just the surface to remove and erase those blocks that hold women back from their true and full potential.

In addition, Emily is a real estate professional with O’Brien Realty, where she utilizes her creative background in the arts and an analytical background in engineering to curate a well-balanced, customized plan for each transaction. Emily places her clients “center stage” offering great customer service, consistent communication, and strong attention to detail ensuring a positive experience for all.

In 1999, Emily co-founded First Position School of Dance, where she was the Artistic Director for the duration of the business. Her choreography was routinely recognized on the competition circuit and the studio was awarded the prestigious the Federation of Dance People’s Choice Award in 2011, voted The Best Dance Studio in Central Jersey by The Home News Tribune and named to the FDC Top 50 Dance Studios.

As a long-time assistant coach with the Rutgers University Spirit Program, Emily had been involved in Division I College Athletics for over twenty years. Her focus was mainly working with the nationally ranked RU Dance Team of which she was a member of the 1998 National Championship RU Dance Team while in school.

She has fond memories training locally and with top professionals from New York City Ballet, Alvin Alley American Dance Theater, Broadway Dance Center, and world-renowned greats including Frank Hatchett and Luigi. She was involved in theatrical performances, danced professionally, and modeled with Capezio dancewear.

Emily fell in love with the Jersey Shore as a young girl and enjoys raising her family in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Her passion for her small-town shore community has inspired her to help others make this exceptional area home. You can find Emily around town walking her pup Sadie, heading to the beach with her latest read, and cheering on her husband and boys at local sporting events.
